One of the first quests you’ll encounter Baldur’s Gate 3 going to come from Lae’zel, if you recruited her to your team. One of the tieflings you saved her from was clearly aware of the Githyanki, so Lae’zel is convinced there must be a daycare nearby.
With Lae’zel convinced that someone at the daycare will be able to remove your little parasite, you may choose to follow this lead down. Here’s what you need to know about the “Find the Githyanki Creche” quest.
How to find Zorru
Your first stop is to head to Tiefling camp and talk to Zorru, the person who was familiar with Githyanki. You will find the entrance to the camp at (X: 208, Y: 436). If you haven’t been there before, you’ll have to help the locals defend themselves against some trolls before you can enter.
You can find Zorru nearby (X:204, Y:572). You must have Lae’zel in your company with you when you talk to him to progress in the mission.
How to find Githyanki Patrol
You want to go to Mountain pass northwest of Emerald Grove.
About (X:-89, Y:539), you will see a glimpse of your first Githyanki, or at least the shadow of their dragon on the ground.
Go further into the pass, and about (X:-112, Y:531), you will see a cutscene of a group of Githyanki clashing with some soldiers. Afterwards, Lae’zel will approach and speak to them. The little meeting doesn’t go exactly as planned, and it’s best to convince Lae’zel to play along.
If at any point you reveal that you were aboard the Nautiloid or that you have the artifact, the Githyanki will attack you.
If you kill them all, you can loot their bodies to find out where the Creche is by examining the elaborate plate you find on them.
How to enter Githyanki Creche
Head to (X:-176, Y:541) to enter the mountain pass.
Be warned that the mountain pass is much more difficult in level, and you will be asked to tie up all loose ends before proceeding.
About (X:-68, Y:-54), Lae’zel will identify some creche markings. You’re heading towards Rosymorn Abbey, so summon the cable car at (X: -46, Y:-73). You must pass a strength check and make it over to the other side and follow the path down to (X:63, Y:13) where you will see a cutscene of some Githyanki and some prisoners.
You can use Speak with the Dead to talk to Corliss, the prisoner who was killed to find out more about the Absolute.
The doors to the daycare center are locked, so you have to find another way in. To the left of the door, at (X:66, Y:32), you find some broken windows — climb in through here.
Inside are some drunken Kobolds, so you either have to sneak past them or defeat them. After defeating them, go through the back exit at (X:38, Y:50)jump the gap and climb up the rocks.
Be careful, as there are many barrels around that will explode if hit, and the Kobolds will use these to their advantage.
At the top, look southeast and jump over to where the puddle isthen break down the wooden panel to enter the monastery.
Get down to the ground floor and enter the door at (X:91, Y:50)go over to the far side and enter the Cloister basement on (X:75, Y:80) to find the daycare center.
You will be stopped by Githyanki, but choose “Let Lae’zel answer.” This will open the daycare for you, and you can go to the infirmary to try to get rid of your parasite.
